Click on tribute wall (above) and click on "Live Webcast" MARSHALL/WEBSTER, Fla.- Juanita Marie Engelberger, age 81, of Marshall, passed away on Friday, Aug. 27, 2021, at Sienna Crest Assisted Living. She was born on Aug. 17, 1940, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Clarence and Gertrude (Meier) Heiniger. Juanita graduated from Madison East High School in 1958, and married Robert Engelberger Nov. 1, 1958. Being a homemaker was Juanita’s most treasured job. She was also a teacher’s aide at Maywood school, and a secretary for Heller’s Carbonic, retiring in 1988. Juanita and Bob raised their family in Monona. Upon retirement they moved to Dodgeville, and then Marshall. They were snowbirds in Webster, Fla. Juanita spent hours volunteering at her churches and at the Country Music Jams in Florida. She was an avid gardener and picked thousands of raspberries. She loved reading, scrapbooking, stitchery, and puzzles. Juanita was an exceptional baker and often shared her coffee cakes and cookies. She enjoyed music, traveling and antiquing. Juanita was a collector of pretty dishes, recipes, shells, and pink flamingos. She had a strong faith. Juanita loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Brett. Juanita is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Michael (Kathy) Engelberger; daughter, Jayne (John) Risberg; grandson, Brett Risberg; sister, Betty (James) Casey and several nieces, nephews and cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Juanita’s family would like to thank Agrace Hospice and Sienna Crest for their loving care. A visitation will be held at MARSHALL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 318 William St., Marshall, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021. A memorial service will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the church, however, due to covid restrictions the number of attendees is limited.
