To me and my sisters, Yvonne Schroeder was "Aunt Sis," one of the many wonderful aunts and uncles on my father's side of the family. I think many of us would agree that she was the one most like Grandma Holen, who was also dearly loved and had a huge positive influence on all of us. I will treasure many sweet memories of my Aunt Sis, including one from less than a year ago, when she won a Scrabble game against 4 other players by being the first person to "go out," collecting the points left on everyone else's rack, and then winning by one point. I love you, Aunt Sis, and will always be grateful that you were part of my life.

I most remember Aunt Sis's kindness and sense of fun. We didn't get to see her that often, but when we did we loved being around her. She is associated with many happy memories for me.
