So sorry to hear of Kris' passing. We worked together at UW for a few years. I loved her life advice, her sense of humor and our standing taco Tuesday lunch dates. She'll be missed.

I have been retired from the Accounting Services Dept. for almost 10 years. I knew Kris from the office for a long time. Yes, she had a great sense of humor that I'll always remember. God bless her soul and her family during this sad time.

Kris was like a 2nd mom to me when I was younger. I loved her infectious laugh and she had a great sense of humor. She was very easy to talk to. She loved her caffeine free Coca Cola and playing video games [ not sure of lately, but when I was younger she did] she used to make fun of me when I called rubber bands rubber binders. I don’t call them rubber binders anymore! I’m from superior, so she thought it was funny the way I would talk at times. I used to play board games with Kari, Kim and Kris’s friend Janet from across the street, we would go to the dells and spend all day there, Those were really special times. When Kris was married to Steve I would go to badger hockey games with the family (mostly, cause I was Kari’s friend) Kris.... you will always have a special place in my heart. I am very sorry Kari and Kim for the loss of your mom and I miss you !

Kris was a wonderful woman with the sweetest heart. She was a grandmother to my daughter who didn’t have one. Many weekends were spent with Elizabeth in grandmas room where the girls would hang with her. Cuddling or jumping on her bed it didn’t matter grandma was always happy to have them there! Kris always told me she was there for me too whenever I needed a mom as mine was taken to soon. We will truly miss you and even though we are in pain over losing you, you are not and for that we find the only comfort possible. Fly high or chilax whatever you want to do now grandma...your spirit is free! All our love, Jessica and Lila
