John Thompson

Besides my own father, John Thompson was one of the most (if not the most) influential males in my life. John was the guardian of Troop 149 and taught me skills and values to last a lifetime. I always felt protected in the presence of John. The last time I saw John was at my father's funeral in July 2016, and we both cried. I have missed John since I moved out of Wisconsin 20 years ago.

Joan and family, On behalf of the Rocca cousins, please accept our deepest sympathies on John’s passing. We have many memories of our parents, Lawrence and Marjorie, taking us on our annual trips to Wisconsin to spend time with my godmother, Alma, and the Thompson children. I’m sure your loss is great.
