Very much enjoyed my visits and phone conversations with Mary about all things local history - especially Blue Mounds history. I absolutely adored Mary's fashion sense and loved complimenting her on that. You are a classic in my eyes and what a wonderful long life. My sincerest sympathy goes to those grieving. Sincerely - Brian J. Bigler

Sorry to learn of Mary's death...a great gal who will be missed. She remembered me as a Second Grader at McKinley Elementary in Kenosha...so many years ago. She would attend Mass and we'd visit often at Parishes to which I was assigned as Pastor over the years, e.g., Ashton (Middleton), Sun Prairie and Mineral Point. I always enjoyed those visits and the memories we shared. May she now rest in the Peace of Christ and may His Blessings be yours in the days ahead. Fr. Jim Hinnen

So sorry to learn of Mary Walsh's passing. I came to know her as a result of her association with Father Paul Ugo Arinze, my adopted son and her favorite (I think) priest, when he was serving at St. Ignatius church in Mount Horeb. She thought the world of him, referred to him affectionately as "Big Boy", wrote to me regularly when she would report on his activities. I looked forward to her Christmas cards and to my opportunities to stay in touch with her. I knew her as a generous, loving, lively woman, fun to be around. I think she lived a full and rich life. I think she will live a full and rich afterlife. Requiescat in pace. Charles Scott, Madison

Patsy, Barbara, Mike, Julie, Nancy & Susan Mary definitely left her prints on the sands of time. May you be patient enough to get through this journey. Wishing the family well during this time of loss. Cathy Lampman Hawkins
