Obituary

MOUNT HOREB - Beverly Ann Luhman, age 86, of Mount Horeb, Wis., passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021, at Ingleside Manor. She was born on Oct. 24, 1934, in Boaz, Wis., the daughter of Burl and Violet (Dray) Johnson. Beverly was a CNA for many years at Ingleside and the Dane County Home. She loved ceramics, stained glass and quilting, and found joy in making quilts for family and friends. She was a huge fan of the Food Network and the Pioneer Woman show, always looking for a new recipe. Reading old Western books and watching Westerns on TV also gave her great joy. Above all, Beverly loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had the biggest heart and loved them all. She often talked proudly about them and would smile from ear to ear with pride. Beverly is survived by her children, Jim Luhman (Nancy Walton) of Mazomanie, Barb Thomson of Florida, Gary (Lynn) Luhman of Barneveld, Kathy (Rich) Croissant of Madison, Kristi (Ken) Schulenberg of Mount Horeb, Roger (Nancy) Luhman of Dodgeville and Donna (Roger) Luhman of Argyle; grandchildren, Jerimiah (Heather), Jessica (James), Heather (Jake), Amber (James), Don Jr. (Megan), Kenny (Lindsay), Micky, Robbe, Karli, Amy, Amanda, Roger Jr., Ashley (Brent), Cody (Peyton) and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Alex, Evan J., Evan B., Isabelle, Lucy, Jack, Max, Edmund, Alaric, Henry, Skylar, Hannah, Natalie, Colin, Lexi and Hunter; and two sisters, Linda (Al) Rickie and Connie (Dennis) Bright. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Bob Thomson; and grandson, Nicholas J. Day. Private services will be held with Pastor John Twiton presiding.
