Eleanor Marguerite Hiltbrand

Rest In Peace Aunt Eleanor. I have many special memories of growing up with your family such as dressing up in your heels and wearing your lipstick, eating your delicious cookies, playing kick-the-can at the farm, playing euchre, the many Christmas Eves celebrated with the Hiltbrands and Campbells eating your rommegrot. You were such a loving and caring mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandma and of course aunt. Love always, Nancy

Eleanor was a sweet lady. I always enjoyed being with her working on church projects. She was the first woman council person at Immanuel. She opened her house for many years to the women of Immanuel for their Christmas breakfast. A wonderful woman with radical hospitality—all were welcome! A life well lived.
