MOUNT HOREB - Sharon Lee Hendrickson passed away on Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Dec. 29, 1937, in Dodgeville, to Walter and Florence (Knuth) Adler. She was united in marriage to Philip Hendrickson on Jan. 10, 1956.

Sharon was a good person and loved helping people. Her generosity was evident through her support of countless charities. She embodied the virtues of her faith through action and spirit. She enjoyed collecting angels. Sharon’s active zest for life shone through her hobbies; she was known for her green thumb with vegetables, her knack for finding treasures at garage sales, and notably as the 'apple pie lady,' thanks to her homegrown apples and baking prowess. Her love for comedy and her role as the family jokester will be cherished memories for all who knew her.

Her ever-present smile and a friendly demeanor will be missed.

Sharon is survived by her son, Philip Lee Hendrickson; grandson, Joshua Hendrickson; and brother, Kerry (Jane) Adler. She was preceded in death by her parents,; husband, Philip Elroy Hendrickson; son, Mark Hendrickson; sisters, Susan (Fred), Donna (Mike), Debbie, Judy, Nancy and September; and brothers, Will, Daniel, David and Randall.

RIP Mrs. Hendrickson. Many fond memories of being at your house or Mark being at ours. Your apple pies and homemade macaroni and cheese will always be some of my favorites growing up. Just the other day i had a memory in Facebook pop up - "Appreciate the people that God gives you - You never know when he will need them back."
