Martha Ann Hartman

I have many good memories with Martha. She joked about trying on my granddaughter's shoes, every time she saw her. I picked her up for Sunday services, and always had a piece of gum ready for her. I am sad to hear of her passing, but I know she is now at Peace, with those she loved and missed, greatly. Rest in Peace, dear Martha!

Martha was a sweet, friendly lady. Had many nice visits with her. Sorry to hear of her passing.

Few people know me. Or maybe you do. Martha was my ‘Other Mother’. My memory of Martha is profound. My mother and Martha worked together at power Engineering, in Sioux City, IA. They became quick friends, and Martha was so instrumental in my life. I remember, (and cherish), the memories of her sweet mama, Annie, and the huge Thanksgiving celebration they put on every year! Such great fun as a child. Over the years, Martha and I became friends. She was a friend like I never knew. She flew to Phx twice, to care for me. Once, she even had a retinal detachment. She had to sleep on her face for 2 weeks! It worked, and she made it to AZ to care for me. Martha was selfless. I hope in my next life, that I would be lucky enough to be born to such a loving woman. I love you more than life, Martha!!! I can’t wait to see you again!
