I will always admire, love and be deeply grateful to Uncle Curt and Aunt Claire. I am so very grateful to the whole Gullick family for the times I was able to spend with them and "live in", go swimming, play monopoly, eat cinnamon toast and just be. I especially remember the summer evening outings to get "baby beer" root beer at the A and W. What a treat those little frosted mugs held! I will remember Uncle Curt as an immaculate and orderly person with a great sense of personal style. Uncle Curt was a protector. He saved me with several wonderful used cars.( I still drive the 2007 Dodge Caravan and hope it lasts forever.) I remember his garage sale finds, love of antiques and his open willingness to tell about crossing over in his near death experience and returning to life to take care of Aunt Claire, Uncle Curt was a WW II Navy veteran. When asked about his experiences, he often declined to talk about it, but later in life he was willing to share more about being tossed about at sea on the navy ship, being recruited as a young teenager and the Bikini Atoll experience of WW II. I think Uncle Curt retired at least 3 times. He loved life and his family. I will carry him in my heart forever. I was blessed by him and Auntie Mom. With sincere gratitude and love , Ann Abraham Malone
