WAUNAKEE / MOUNT HOREB - Donald Palmer Gordon, age 97, passed away peacefully with his family at his side holding Katie’s hand on Saturday, November 16, 2024. He was born on October 13, 1927, in Albany, Wis., to Palmer and Mabel (Hauge) Gordon. They raised their four children in DeForest where he was involved at Christ Lutheran Church. He retired from Fabco Catepillar in 1990. Gardening was a passion, and he transformed their backyards into “legendary gardens with ‘big ass hostas!” He and Katie spent many years square dancing and round dancing throughout Wisconsin. They traveled extensively and he loved playing Euchre and other card games as well as spending time with friends and family.
