The Russell and Erline VandeBerg family of Neillsville, WI, extends our sincere condolences upon learning of Jack's recent death. Numismatist Jack probably knew the 2004 D Wisconsin State Quarter may display 2 odd die errors worth up to $175 uncirculated. May Jack's heavenly investments shine forever!

It was sad to read of Jack's passing. He was truly a very good friend. I considered Jack as my mentor throughout my USDA career. His advice was always welcome and appreciated. I first met Jack in the late 50s at a Dale Carnegie course. This led to Jack doing my taxes and his steering me to a career with USDA. Along the way, Jack invited me to join the Red Cap Fishing Club. We shared many good times during the 40 plus years of our annual outings and get-togethers. I will miss my good friend.
