I am so sorry to read of Eleanor's death. She was what I would call a spitfire, compassionate and so funny at times. I have great memories of her and Dale telling little stories on each other- we'd laugh and they would laugh too. They were a special couple. Now they are together. My sympathies to her fine family.

She was the bestest care giver around. Hers and mine...and others all got chicken pox at same time. She gave them soda baths to relieve the itching. She some times did 2 together. Troy and my daughter Paula were about 3ish. She asked if she coukd put them in tub together....i saw no problem. In later years the two got a lot of laughs about having taken a bath together. She also had a wooden spoon. The kids were not allowed to cross the street. Mark Sutter lived a blockvaway across the street. One day the "tribe" decided to go to Marks house. When Eleanor found them gone....she heard them, called to them, and home they came. When they walked up to the house she wacked the spoon on the flower bed in front of the house. It shattered and the "tribe" decided not to cross the street again
