Carl Frederick Arneson

The service from your loved one will never be forgotten from the continued memories by you and your family. I remember Carl well, from our days in Barneveld and association with the Barneveld State Bank. Prayers for the family. Carl was a wonderful man.

I remember Carl and Lois bringing Susie, my college roommate to St. Olaf. I was honored to go home to Barneveld with Susie for freshman year Thanksgiving. The entire Arneson clan was there and it was a very lively event. Unfortunately, we stored the turkey in the oven that Thursday night, only to find it on Friday night when we put in a pizza after preheating the oven! When my husband, Dick Sveum and I lived in Madison 1979-1983, Carl invited Dick to join the Madison Torskeklubben which Dick enjoyed immensely. I got to enjoy the annual Ladies Day, sitting with Carl and Lois. Dick continues with his membership in the Minneapolis Torskeklubben. It was always apparent how important his Norweign heritage was. Both Lois and Carl were strong community advocates and I am glad we both were able to know them. Jennifer Olson & Dick Sveum
