I'm so sorry to hear of Dave's passing and offer my sympathies to his family on their loss. I worked with Dave at Monroe P.D. and always looked forward to a vigorous discussion/debate with him on issues of all size and import at shift change. Dave impressed me as an intelligent, caring individual with an extraordinary skill in communication and as such, pushed for him to become our new Tactical Unit's first Hostage Negotiator.
