Paul's family, I was astonished to read about Paul's passing , what a great person , I was fortunate to work with Paul on the organisation of the Dane County Senior Golf Tournament. Enjoyed the rounds of golf together as members of the Yahara Golf Assn. He always seemed to see the good side of a person ,a situation and life in general. His friends , the Wisconsin gold scene and his family have lost a true gentleman.
LIVE STRONG Paul' s family !! With heartfelt sympathy Ken Russell

I am so sad to learn of Paul's passing in the morning newspaper. Fresh out of college in August 1971, I joined the Jefferson MIddle School Staff in the Madison Metropolitan School District. One of the first teachers I met was Paul. He greeted with a smile and a positive attitude that never, ever changed. I regard Paul as a mentor, a caring educators and as a friend. My deep sympathy to Jane and the entire family. John Daly

Jon and I are two of “the friends” with whom Paul shared weekly dinners. We are so sad and will miss him dearly. Jon will also miss Paul as his fly fishing partner with whom he spent many a day on the streams. Paul was an organizer and connecter. He was a humble man of many accomplishments and talents. We feel a hole in our hearts and lives without him. Our hearts are with you Jane and your dear family. We send our deepest sympathy and love, Jon snd Ingrid Hanson

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Paul. I graduated from Platteville High School in 1956 and Paul and I played high school golf against each other. Later, Paul and I both officiated golf tournaments for the Wisconsin State Golf Association. I think we did this together for about 20 years. Gary Prisbe of Madison, Wisconsin, was another friend of Paul's who officiated with us. Paul enjoyed talking about our high school days. He never forgot his Lancaster roots. Whenever a Lancaster golfer like Zach Hentrich was playing in the tournament we were working, Paul would pay special attention to his results. I will remember Paul as always being friendly and positive about everything we were doing. Mick McKichan, Platteville, Wisconsin.
