Audrey A Severson

BLACK EARTH- Audrey Severson passed peacefully into Eternal Rest, early Thursday morning on Aug. 9, 2018, at her home near Black Earth. She was born on June 13, 1931, the daughter of Ted and Lura Oberley, of Walker, Minn. She met, and married, her husband Ralph in 1950, with whom she shared a life with for 63 years. They raised their family on their farm near Oregon, Wis. The two retired to Bushnell, Florida in their fifties, and returned to Black Earth in their later years. Audrey is survived by her children, Kathy (Victor) Paris, of Fredonia, Gilbert (Ellen) Severson of Black Earth, Shirley (Bob) Oimoen of Bushnell, Fla., and Connie (Ron) Waelti of Belleville; 13 grandchildren, whom she loved dearly; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; and brother, Richard Oberley, formerly of Waukesha. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON-CAMACHO FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1710 Center St., Black Earth, at 12 noon, on Monday, Aug. 13, 2018. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Audrey will be laid to rest with her beloved Ralph, in Vermont Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Vermont. She will be missed, but fondly remembered by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of Audrey, to be designated at a later date.
