So sorry to hear about Susan’s passing. I enjoyed painting with her and we shared the “tips” she posted on Facebook. Ginny, (an art buddy)

Dear Susan's family and friends, I am saddened to hear of Susan's passing. She was smart, funny and just delightful to be around. I knew Susan through our regional research group and via the Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior for nearly 30 years. What a bright spirit our world has lost. May your wonderful memories of Susan carry you through the grieving process. Sincerely, Sharon Hoerr PS. Attached is a photo of us on a wine tour around Melbourne, Australia before an international nutrition education conference. Susan organized the tour, of course, and we all enjoyed the happy hour in her room later at the hotel.

Bill and family: Sue was a great friend to me and to those who listened during her many, many visits on my Wisconsin Public Radio program. She dispelled myths, answered thousands of questions from listeners and did so with a smile and with wit. Off air, we often commiserated over golf and talked about our families. It was obvious she deeply cared for you, Bill, and for everyone else in her family. She asked me to speak to her classes at times, and it was plain to see that her students respected and loved her. She leaves a wonderful legacy of service to others and she will be deeply missed. With deepest sympathies, Larry Meiller
