Marian J Turk

Dear Sue and Jayne: I worked with your mother at People Marine Bank for many years (Ann Froelich) and was sad to see that Marian passed away. I knew both Marian and Bill very well. They were just the nicest people! Marian was a joy to work with and always had a smile on her face and a little sparkle in her eye. She had a quick wit but always in a kind way. I smile when I think of her. One day, we were all having lunch and Marian brought out this fantastic lunch ... a fancy little tea sandwich, some fancy cut fruit, fancy little canapés and a fancy little petit fours. We were teasing her about whether all her lunches were this fancy and with her quiet little laugh and grin said "oh no, we had a party last night". I will just never forget this little memory. I still have her recipe for her cucumber salad, typed up by Marian and signed "M. Turk". I also remember as each grandchild was born, how proud and happy she was and how she loved sharing stories about them. Marian was one of kind and I feel blessed to have known her and worked with her for so many years. I have thought about her and Bill over the years ... they were incredible people!
