Timothy James Veserat

MADISON-Timothy James "Tim" Veserat, age 53, of Madison, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018, at his home. He was born on Feb. 10, 1965, in Madison, the son of Francis and Caroline Veserat. Tim is survived by his children, Randal and Josephine Veserat; brothers, Mike (Jeryn) Veserat, and John (Susan) Veserat; sister, Jean (Cannie) Ware; nieces and nephews, Emily Morley (Matt), Kelsey Veserat, Carrie Ware, Andrew Veserat, Hogan Veserat, Nick Ware, Logan Georgel, Olivia Veserat and Brooke Georgel; and great-niece, Scarlett Morley.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Thomas Veserat. Tim was a long-time resident of Monona having graduated from Monona High School in 1983, and spent most of his life in the area. He was a proud member of the Wisconsin Sheet Metal Workers Union and prided himself in perfecting his trade and being part of the union. He loved showing people around Madison and pointing out the commercial properties he had worked on over the years. Installing the HVAC during the remodel of the state capitol building was one of his favorites. Tim was a kind-hearted friend who loved helping his friends and family with home improvement projects.  He was quick to offer his friends help by offering up his talents in many areas of construction. He could fix or build just about anything. Most of all, Tim loved his children. He was so proud of Randy and Josie and the amazing young adults they have grown into. Tim enjoyed bike riding around the lake with Josie, fishing with Randy and telling silly jokes just to hear them laugh.  He also loved to talk to them about the weather. He knew the weather wherever his kids were before they did! A Celebration of Tim’s Life will be held at ONEIDA PARK, on Tecumseh Ave., Monona, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018.  In lieu of flowers, a kind note to his children with a memory of Tim would be most appreciated.     Gunderson East Funeral & Cremation Care 5203 Monona Drive 608-221-5420
