“If I Can Tinker With It, I Can Fix It”
SUN PRAIRIE, WI-Jesse Lynn Knudtson, passed away Wednesday July 18, 2018. He was born in Columbus, WI on December 25, 1970, the son of Jerry and Rosemary (Holden) Knudtson. He attended Sun Prairie Schools. He was a self-taught auto mechanic and had worked on exotic vehicles such as Pantaras, Ferraris, Lamborghinis and many others. They were favorites of his as he discovered there capabilities. He loved to “tinker” with almost anything. There was a joy even as a young child of taking apart items and discovering how they worked and then repairing them.
He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Rosemary; His son, TJ Lynn Knudtson and his brother, Jason Paul Knudtson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tenard and Ruby (Dorman) Knudtson and Clarence and Madaline (Goodwin) Holden; his brother, James Scott Knudtson along with many aunts and uncles, too numerous to mention.
A Visitation/Gathering will be held for family and friends at the GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 157 S Main St, on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:30 A.M. A respectful but nonreligious Interment will be at the Arlington Prairie Cemetery on Smokey Hollow Rd. Lodi, WI following the gathering.

Jesse was my friends oldest son and he will be missed and lovingly remembered. When my daughter was little, Jesse would sit with her and read her his favorite stories, and share his favorite Jean-Bean doll. He and his brothers would pull her around the house in a laundry basket until she fell asleep and then keep pulling cuz it was fun!!. They shared their favorite town of Fisher Price little people too. As a young man, he continued to bless my life by babysitting and helping to fix my car every now and then. Always kind, always respectful, always funny and smiling, always willing to share a laugh with others. Smart, witty and every inch loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Jesse was a very good friend of mine and will be dearly missed by so many people. There are so many funny stories I just dont know what to say Playing in the snow, hanging out & driving around. I am so happy that he was a part of my life. I will never forget the smile on his face when he came to tell me he was going to be a Dad. Rest in peace my dear friend

I am thankful to have so many decades of life lessons, adventures, and memories with Jesse. One of the greatest memories I have, was after I gave birth to our son; TJ. Seeing Jesse bursting with pride, love, and joy for his baby boy. He will be missed by family and friends and will not be forgotten. Rest in peace my Jesse Lynn.

Peace and comfort in this difficult time is my wish for Jesse's loved ones.
Jesse was a good person and although our paths did not take the direction we had intended I wish life had been kinder to him. The happy years we spent together are what I will remember. Our honeymoon in the Bahamas and camping with our kids. Now he will get to spend lots of time with our beloved pupper Max.
