Brian Kevin Buss

MADISON- Brian K. Buss, age 49, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018. He was born on Jan. 14, 1969, in Madison, the son of Glenn and Judith (Leikness) Buss. Brian graduated from East High School. He was a hardworking and dedicated foreman for BouMatic LLC. Brian enjoyed bowling and shooting darts. He loved the outdoors, and was a skilled and patient fisherman, and he always delighted in being outdoors with his drone. Brian took any opportunity he could to be outside at the grill. He enjoyed watching basketball and football, always cheering on the Packers and Badgers. Playing “the world of tanks” was a cherished past time of Brian’s. What he loved more than anything however, was spending time with family and friends, and listening to his daughter sing. Brian was always there for his daughter, Megan, and loved her with all his heart. He will be forever remembered as a kind and selfless soul, who would always be there for anyone. Brian is survived by his daughter, Megan Buss; significant other, Monica Copus-Holmes; friend, Rachael (Ted Jones) Buss; brothers, Greg (Kathy) Buss, David (Debbie) Buss, Gary (Rita) Buss, and Randy Buss; best friend, Mike Peltier (Barb Bodart); and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m., on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m., until the time of the service on Saturday.
