Obituary
BELLEVILLE-Larry Wipperfurth, age 66, of Belleville, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on June 12, 1952, in Madison, the son of Paul and Betty (Solem) Wipperfurth. He married Susan Wipperfurth on Sept. 9, 1977, in Janesville, and spent over 40 years with the love of his life. Larry worked as an Asbestos Worker for New Tech for over 20 years and was a member of Local Union No. 19 and 127. Larry proudly served his country as a Marine from 1971 to 1977. Larry enjoyed racing street stock and late model cars, as well as rebuilding cars. Later in life he enjoyed traveling with wife, Susan, Las Vegas being his favorite traveling destination. He loved to fish with Kenny and Kevin after his retirement, mowing with his John Deere lawn mower, and spending time with his cats, Boots and Lucky. Larry would do anything for anyone, he was the person you called when you needed help. He was a simple man that took pride in his family, they were his greatest joy in life; you could often find him spending time with his children and grandchildren. Larry is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Missy (Seth) Radl, Wendy Christensen (Amos Odegard), Rodney Wipperfurth (Mary Adams) and Jesse (Mike) Hewitt; grandchildren, Sophie, Henry, Taylor, Alexis and Bailey; mother, Betty (Paul E.); brothers, Denny (Jackie) Wipperfurth, Rick (Lori) Wipperfurth and Scott Wipperfurth; sisters, Deanna (Keith) Garland and Tami (Terry) Flock; sisters-in-law, Nina (Jerry) Stocks and Nadya (Chris) Hansen; brothers-in-law, Taras (Lori) Nahirniak and Ed (Theresa) Lewis; mother-in-law, Donna Nahirniak; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul W.; brother, Ronnie Wipperfurth; father-in-law, Bill Nahirniak; and friends, Kenny Vanderpool and Kevin Ketelboeter. A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 2950 Chapel Valley Rd., Fitchburg, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July, 10, 2018. There will be a gathering following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to be designated at a later date. Special thanks to the Wipperfurth family and my family for all the love and support during this difficult time, Love, Sue. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
