Ellen Mae Dunn

MADISON-Ellen Mae Dunn, age 91, of Madison, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Saturday, June 30, 2018.  She was born on August 28, 1926, in Danville, Ill., the daughter of Arthur and Hazel Hills.  Ellen was united in marriage to Raymond Dunn in 1973.  She worked as a Sterilization Operator for UW Hospital for many years where she retired. Ellen was a very hard worker who loved classic country and going shopping, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Ellen is survived by a daughter, Barb Jane Grate; son, Bill Dicken; four grandsons, Schad and Shawn Dunn, Pete (Amanda) Dicken and Philip Dicken; granddaughters, Rebecca (Robert) Noble and Ashley (Peter) Ballweg; great-grandsons, Bentley Ballweg and Konnor and Cole Dicken; great-granddaughter, Makayla Dicken; and great-great-grandson, Talon Larabee.  She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and grandson, Shay Dicken.  Special thank you to Agrace Hospicecare for their care and compassion.
