Obituary

MIDDLETON/OREGON-On Saturday, June 16, 2018, our Lord and Savior came to Kyle, put his arms around him and said, “Come stay with me where there will be peace.” At that moment, his struggles with addiction ended. Kyle was born to Jean and Sylvester Acker, on April 10, 1971. He was a very kind, sensitive and loving person. Kyle consistently stood up for anyone who was being unfairly treated with his quick wit and a smile to lift their spirits. He loved spending time with others, whether it be playing cards or talking about all things sports. Kyle had a great love in his heart for his two sons, Max and Sam and cherished every moment spent with them. He is survived by his sons, Max and Sam; their mother, Amy; his parents, Jean and Syl Acker; three siblings, Kevin (Theresa) Acker, Kurt (Kari) Acker and Kristine (Joseph) Jankowski; and seven nieces and five nephews. Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosemary and Richard Herbrand and Helen and George Acker Sr. A Celebration of Life will be held at HOLY MOTHER OF CONSOLATION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 651 N. Main St., Oregon, at 11 a.m., on Thursday, June 21, 2018. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tellurian UCAN, Inc., 300 Femrite Dr., Madison, 53716, to assist others struggling with addiction. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com. Kyle, we have always loved you and you will be remembered always. Gunderson Oregon Funeral & Cremation Care 1150 Park St. (608) 835-3515

I am so sad to hear this news. My heart goes out to all of you. I met Kyle back in middle school at Kromrey. His smile and twinkle in his eyes is memorable. May you find some peace knowing that Kyles struggle is over and that he is with the Lord. My prayers are with you. ❤️

Kyle - I'm deeply saddened to hear of your loss and your struggle. Some of my best early childhood memories are with you growing up in Wood Circle West - roaming the neighborhood at all times of year - but especially the summers. We had a great time and you always had my back. You'll always hold a special place in my memories - peace to you and your family.

Jean, Syl, Kurt and the rest of the Acker family, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. While I didn't know him and I looked at the picture I knew he was some relation. I'm sure he was a wonderful man, like the rest of the family. Prayers for you all during this difficult time. Scott and Annette Bockover family

Kyle and his family were our neighbors for many years on Wood Circle. My mother and I babysat Kyle's older siblings and, after Kyle was born, him as well. He was a happy baby/toddler which still shows in his smile and eyes. My most sincere condolences to his sons and Amy, his parents Jean and Syl, and to Kevin, Kurt and Kristine Jennifer Eich
