Obituary
MADISON-Thomas J. "Tommy" Femrite, age 50, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. He was born on Jan. 15, 1968, in Madison, the son of William and Donna (Hendrickson) Femrite. Tommy worked as a truck driver. He loved sports and was an avid Cowboys fan. Tommy's greatest pride was his two boys, Tyler and JT, with whom he loved spending quality time and learning about their various interests. More than anything, he was reliable and always present for his family and friends. Tommy is survived by his parents; two sons, Tyler Femrite and JT Femrite; mother of JT, Amber Bakken; brother, Todd Femrite; sister, Debra "Sissi" Femrite; brother-in-law, Gary McClain; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; uncle, Wally Schutz; and his favorite canine companion, Josh. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 3 p.m. on Monday June 18, 2018. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
