I remember seeing Jeff at UW hospital the first day I came for radiation treatment in November. I was sure it was him but was afraid to approach him. A few days later I saw him again and knew I had to. He knew me, we talked. I was one of the guys that played basketball with him,Paul, and Jim at Paul’s House in the dead of winter. He told me all about his family, his daughter who was in Special Olympics in Oregon. I am the agency Manager for Verona Special Olympics. He was a truly likeable man and will be greatly missed.

I am truly going to miss Jeff. I would golf with Jeff every week and he would bring his daughter Nicole (Nikki) with him on many occasions. I was riding a golf cart so Nikki would ride with me. (Jeff would always walk) We had a great time in the cart, but if we got too far away from Jeff she would miss her dad and we had to stay closer to him. Jeff was a very kind soul. I was always uplifted when I saw Jeff at the golf course. I will miss him.

Jeff was more of a brother than a brother in law. Even though we lived in different states I knew if I ever needed him all I’d have to do is call and he’d be there. Jeff was a kind, loving person. Always helping out his family and friends. If he didn’t know how to do something he needed to have done he would educate himself and then do it. His leaving leaves a huge void. I will miss you Jeff so I’ll just close with “ until we meet again”.
