My little sister, Jill, was the light of my life from the time she was born until her untimely death. She had more talent in her little finger than most of us have in our entire bodies. I remember rocking her as a two year old when she had chicken pox to give our mom a chance to get some rest; the close contact made me immune from the pox for life.
Teaching her to sew on our ancient sewing which she learned to turn into amazing dresses, curtains, chairs, wall coverings, you-name- it. Jill could do anything. Got a ceiling to cover? Floor to refurnish with new wood? Walls to paint or wall-paper? Room or whole home to redecorate? Dress to make from a size 14 to a size 8? Jill was the talented girl who could do it all.
As adults, Jill was the person I always turned to for calm, honest practical advice with a can-do attitude. What will I do without her? Look to God for help for she can never be replaced. My life will never be the same without her. I love her and miss her more than words can say; she was taken from us way too soon.
