Betty Jane Johnson

LODI-Betty Jane Johnson, age 92, of Lodi, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2018. She was born on December 22, 1925, in town of West Point, the daughter of Charles Zeman and Emma (Benish) Zeman. Betty graduated from Lodi High School with the class of 1944.  Following High School Betty traveled to the East coast, where she met Robert Johnson they made Connecticut their home until Robert's unexpected death in 1966.  She then returned to the Lodi area with her children. Betty loved to travel and was a worldly traveler.  She owned and operated Mr. Zip's for many years.  Betty was a Fire Warden for over 30 years. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish at St. Patrick’s Church Lodi. Betty is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Johnson and Bettie-Jo Sanchez; son, Robert Johnson; granddaughter, Shannon von Driska; great-grandsons, Chris and Wyatt von Driska;       sisters, Ann Seeger and Violet Attoe; brothers, Vern, Bob, Tom, John and Jim and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Arnold, Russell, Joe and Charles. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the OKEE COMMUNITY CENTER, W11619 Hwy. V, Lodi. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
