Sandy, Patricia, Denice and Family: We send our sympathy at Chauncey's passing. We remember him fondly as the yin to Sandy's yang, quiet but thoughtful. Sending you the hope of peace, happiness at memories of him, and joy at the little things you will observe that will remind you of him every day. Our love, Rod and Margaret Birrenkott

Chauncey will be greatly missed by me and my wife. I hired Chauncey as a computer programmer in 1972 at Ag Records, then he came to work for me in 1987 at Specialized Data Systems. For all these years he devoted 110% to all the projects he worked on.
Even though Chauncey retired a few years ago, we kept in touch as friends. We would get together as friends every time I came to Madison and often he would end up counseling me on business projects. It's with great sadness to be without my friend and the brother I never had .

Sandy, Patti, and Denice,
We are so sorry about your loss. Chauncey was a great guy and helped us so much including helping with the Big Sky Radiology Meeting, an on call electrician, taxi driver to horse lessons and to the Bozeman airport in the middle of a blizzard, and the list goes on. He lived a great life and we will think of him often.
Sincerely,
Pam, Scott, Kristin, Erika and Ingrid

I am up Nprth about 300 miles and just found out of Chauncey passing when my son brought up some State Journals. Sorry I did not know sooner as to attend the wake. Had good times while I was in the Flying club with Chauncey. Always respected his knowledge of flying procedures and was a good pilot.
