MADISON/MANITOWISH WATERS- Beverly (Hoops) Solberg, age 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 31, 2018. She was born on Oct. 14, 1938, to Raymond and Helen (Anderson) Hoops. Beverly attended Madison West High School, UW Madison and Luther College. Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Karl Solberg; children, Kristi, Doug and Debbie; grandchildren, Edward, Lucy, Carly and Ashley; sister, Nancy; and brother, Richard. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ray John. Per the family’s wishes, services will be private. Dear Carl, Kris, Doug and Debbie, I was so sorry to read about your Mom's passing. I have such good memories of her, her smile, her laugh... She was my go-to person when I subbed at the Middle School all those years ago and we all had such good times with the ball team and our getting together.
