Obituary

MADISON-Deborah Ann Egebrecht, age 63, and lifelong resident of Madison, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born on Jan. 6, 1955, in Pensacola, Fla., the daughter of Larry and Audrey Egebrecht. Madie Ray Egebrecht was her beloved step-mother. Debbie was an avid Packers and Badgers fan. She loved Santa Claus, Mickey Mouse, Lassie, WWE, and all music, especially Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. Debbie enjoyed spending hours with coloring books and magic markers and then gifting her masterpieces to others. She had a spirited and sometimes mischievous personality and brought happiness, hugs, and kisses to everyone and anyone. She will be dearly missed. Debbie is survived by her brothers, Lawrence of Florida and Gary of Alabama. She is further survived by many dear friends from Wisconsin, including those who cared and supported her at MARC-East, CCLS and Central Wisconsin Center. She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Lawrence and Madie Ray; mother, Audrey Cummings; and sister, Mary Jane “Dolly” Porter. A memorial service will be held at MARC-EAST, 66 Buttonwood Court, Madison at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, with refreshments to follow. A special thanks to Dr. Lynda Siewert, St. Mary’s Hospital and Agrace HospiceCare, for all the care and compassion given to Debbie.
