Gertrude "Trudy" Mae (Collman) Herold

Gert was a pillar of strength and comfort to everyone around her. Her example of positivity in times of adversity taught me about resiliency. When my dad, her favorite and only brother Norm, was in the final stage of cancer, she was determined to visit him. Even after falling when she departed the plane on arrival and breaking her shoulder, she got to Brandon Oaks after a quick trip to the ER. I’ll never forget how they lit up when they saw each other. I hope that kind of love gets passed on to every generation to come. Love and prayers to Dick, Dan, Kathy, Becky, and Jeff and all of your family.
