Rylee was born on October 10, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Rylee loved to be outdoors; she especially enjoyed watching the sporting events of her four cousins “The Boys”. She liked to dance and entertain those around her. Rylee’s favorite treat was her Great-Grandma’s caramel rolls, and loved Justin Timberlake and the movie “Trolls”. Rylee is survived by her parents, Kate (Kessenich) and Tyler Payne; grandparents, Dennis and DeDe Kessenich and Gary and Marci Payne; aunts and uncles, Kendra (Tim) Cleary, Kelsey Kessenich, and Trenton Payne; cousins, Alden, Hudson, Madden and Kyan Cleary and her great-grandparents, Betty Kessenich, Dolores Simon, Betty and John Lynch and Ann and Wig Payne. Rylee was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, Jerome Kessenich and Jack Simon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 209 South Street, Waunakee, at 11 A.M. on Friday, May 11, 2018, with Monsignor James Gunn presiding. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Thursday, May 10, 2018, and also at the church on Friday, from 10 A.M. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to BEAT NB, online at https://beatnb.org/. There will also be a picnic celebrating Rylee at a time to be determined this coming summer. To all of the American Family Children’s Hospital nurses, doctors and caregivers, thank you for taking care of our baby girl.   We will forever miss her and the opportunity to love and watch her grow and will always live with the memories she left on our hearts during her short stay.   Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com
