Eric Stuart Kneubuhler

Monona -Eric S. Kneubuhler, age 62, of Monona, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at SSM Health, St. Mary's Hospital from a brief illness with cancer.  He was born on June 1, 1955, in Madison, the son of John and Edith (Kalhagen) Kneubuhler.  Eric graduated from Madison East High School and attended MATC.  He worked for Oscar Mayer for 13 years, and then went on to be a maintenance technician for various property management companies.  Eric loved living on the water and enjoyed boating and fishing.  He also enjoyed hunting, music, NASCAR and the Packers. Eric was very kind and was always willing to help someone in need.  He lived life in the present, appreciated life and always made you laugh.  Eric is survived by his best friend, Pamela Meicher; sisters, Kathy (Ken) Fellerson and Mary Jo (Jon) Haag; brother, Jack Kneubuhler; nieces and nephews, Laurie, Lisa, Rachel (Joshua), Leah and Adam; great-nephews and great-niece, Joshua, Jouquin, Channing and Ellie; and many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 2 p.m. on Monday May 7, 2018. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service on Monday.  The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at St. Mary's Hospital for their compassion and care.  Also to Travis S. in the emergency room.
