Obituary
MADISON-Charles Arthur Boettcher, of Madison, born on Sept 4, 1929, in Milwaukee, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 29, 2018, surrounded by his family. Charles is survived by his daughters, Christine (Philip) Beck and Jenifer (Steven) Dyer; his son, Mark Boettcher; and his grandchildren, Caitlyn and Jacob (Alyssa) Beck, Stephanie and Hannah Dyer, Brandon (Selene) Gerber and Justin (Jenna) Higgins. He is also survived by his brother, Ronald (Geraldine) Boettcher; sister-in-law, Ida (Louis) Habenicht; and many nieces, nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Lydia; and his son, Paul. A memorial service for family and close friends will be held at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1021 Spaight St., Madison at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Christine, I am not sure if you remember me. My name was Sonja Buege(Lowell & East High School) I spent alot of time with you. Your Mom would always have delicious meals and or lunch for us. I will always remember when Paul passed. It was such sad time. I see your brothers name at St. Mary's Janesville. I send my thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Sonja Buege (now Abrams).
