MIDDLETON- Sarah Jane Hall, 87, of Weslaco, TX passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, at John Knox Village. Sarah Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Floyd Hall. She is survived by sons, Dale (Faith), David (Kelly) and Douglas (Betty). She was a loving and generous Grandmother to Nicole, Aaron, Lea, Crystal, Joseph, Austen and Nathan. Sarah Jane Hall was born, March 8, 1931, and raised in Detroit MI. the only daughter of Charles and Edna. She attended college at Rockford College in Illinois, graduated and continued her education in physical therapy at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Sarah Jane and Floyd were married for 58 years raising three active boys. Her activities included, singing in the church choir, leading a youth group, and participating in the United Methodist women groups. She enjoyed square dancing and making many of her square dancing dresses. She sewed clothes for her family, made many quilts, was a wonderful knitter, crocheter and cross-stitcher, and made the most amazing raspberry pies. She had a large greenhouse in the home she and Floyd built, where she kept bulbs over the winter, seeded many of the plants for their gardens, and became an avid bird watcher. Always willing to travel via motorcycle, motor home, car or taking a cruise, Sarah kept a special place in her heart for their cabin in Millston, WI. Another passion was going wild flower picking to press and dry and make special birthday cards for her granddaughters and daughters-in-law. Sarah Jane worked full-time as a physical therapist at the Wisconsin School for the Visually Handicapped in Janesville, WI and later at Maplewood Nursing Home in Sauk City, WI helping individuals improve their mobility and quality of life. She was a wonderful, caring Mother, Wife and Grandmother as well as a generous and thoughtful friend. Services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, at 6:30 p.m., on Monday, May 7, 2018.
