Pa Thao

Pa Vang Thao, 65, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 16, 2018, after a three-year battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis in Madison, Wisconsin. She was born on June 15, 1952, in Laos, to Ka Thao and Ga Neng Vang. Pa Vang escaped the Vietnam War and immigrated to Thailand. In 1994, she came to the United States with her family and settled in Berlin, Wisconsin and later moved to Madison, Wisconsin in 2003. Pa Vang Thao was loved by many. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who knew no boundries to loving her family and her many relatives. She is survived by her husband, Wa Pa Thao; children, Vahtai Thao (Bila Her), Ka Xiong (Xaiv Sua Xiong), Bee Vang (Xue Vang), Mai Yang Thao (Pa Chai Vue), Chou Thao (Ashley Harper), Mai Seng Thao, and Angie Thao (Keng Keu Meng Xiong). She is further survived by eight grandsons and 12 granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ka Thao and Ga Neng Vang; son, See Nou Thao, and son-in-law, Faiv Ntaj Xiong.
