Rodney J Noyce

ISABELLA, MO/OREGON, WIS-Rodney John "Rod" Noyce, age 69, of Isabella, MO. and Oregon, Wis., passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at his daughter's home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 4, 1949, in Stoughton, the son of Harold and Ruby (Gladem) Noyce. Rodney married Angie Noyce on May 12, 1984, in Madison.  He was incredibly proud of his service in the U.S Marines with the First Battalion Platoon NO. 1084 and served in two tours in Vietnam.  Rodney was a member of the VFW Post 5366 in Isabella, MO.  He enjoyed bird watching from his back porch and spending time with his family. Rodney is survived by his daughters, Tammy (Dan) Braxton and Kimberly (Jason) Ehmke; sons, David (Kim) Noyce and Scott Howard; sisters, Gloria Noyce and Brenda (Steve) Noyce-Kaiser; brothers, Steve (Eulala) Noyce and Kevin (April) Noyce; brother-in-law, Mike (Nancy) Schiro; and his loving grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angie; parents; infant son, Michael; grandson, Eddie; brothers, Perry and John; and his mother and father-in-law. A Celebration of Life for both Rod and the love of his life, Angie, will be held at a later date. Rod loved the simple things in life and never complained about anything, even the pain he dealt with daily for the past few years.  He was a genuinely compassionate person who would help anyone in need.  A hero to many and loved by all who knew him.  Memorials may be gifted in Rod's name to the Wounded Warrior Project at http://www.woundedwarriorproject.com. Our family would like to thank Agrace HospiceCare for everything that they did for us and for Rod during the last few weeks of his life, especially Cristina who was his primary nurse. Without their help his transition into the afterlife would not have been as comfortable for him. Stand down Marine, at ease, we got this.  Love you more!
