WSJ- SUN 3/11/18 WSJ Photo Sansone, Joan H. MADISON-Joan H. Sansone, age 79, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018. She was born on April 19, 1938, in Roxbury, the daughter of Norbert and Adelia (Fass) Haas. Joan married Louis Sansone on June 3, 1958. She worked as a program assistant at UW Madison and was a member of St. Dennis Catholic Church. Joan enjoyed her time exercising at Princeton Club and doing water aerobics in the summer at the Monona Pool. She especially loved being surrounded by her family and friends. Joan is survived by her daughter, Linda (Michael) Odden and their children Eric (Katie) Odden (expected baby Odden in April) and Sarah (Matt LaBelle) Odden; son, Flint (Lynn) Sansone; Thomas (Liz) Baehnk and their daughter Scarlett; brother, Roman (Charlotte ) Haas; sisters-in-law Frances Haas and Nancy Coffey; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis; parents; brothers, Herbert Haas, Lawrence Haas and Victor Haas; and sisters, Arline DuCharme and Dorothy Fuchs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Rd., Madison, at 2:30 on Thursday, March 15, 2018, with Fr. Randy Timmerman presiding. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the church from 12:30 until the time of the Mass on Thursday. Memorials may be gifted in Joan's name to American Heart Association. Thank you to all the staff at Meriter and Wisconsin Heart for all the care and support over the years.
