Keith, I am sitting here, tears streaming down my face, my heart broken, listening to the kiln as you are being cremated. I can’t believe all that has happened in the past month. I’m sorry you had to go through all of this. You are too young. It’s not right that this happened to you. I feel like we were just beginning to really re-connect. You had so much of life to look forward to. Peace be with you and a loving and happy reunion on the other side with those that have gone before us. Be sure to stop at the Rainbow Bridge and pick up all of those beloved pets to take with you on your journey. Say hello to everyone there for me. I miss you and them and think and dream about you all often. I love you from the bottom of my heart, my dear, sweet baby brother.

Keith left us too soon. We’re supposed to have a couple decaded of retirement to enjoy the fruits of our labors. I’ve known Keith some forty eight years. We lost touch some years ago but had the pleasure of reconnecting a couple years ago. Keith was always good company. Very intelligent and always up to something interesting. We grew up together, found trouble and enlightenment together, and always had a good time. Keith and his family gave me the courtesy of a place to stay as a young man with nowhere to go. A rare and good family indeed. I’ll miss his humor, sarcasm and wit. Godspeed my friend. Xoxo

Keith I regret that I did not meet you sooner. I remember talking politics with you in the break room. I will miss your insights. Rest in peace.

Keith was a good friend to have in so many ways. He was kind and intelligent with a wry sense of humor. He had a solid recovery program and was a good example for others in recovery. But more than anything else he was just a good friend. He always had time to go get breakfast of a cup of coffee. One time Mary planned a surprise birthday dinner for Tracy at a restaurant downtown. We were just arriving at the door and Keith walked up. He feigned surprise and played along, saying he was just walking by, and so we invited him to join us, and to Tracy's surprise he accepted. He played along for 10-15 minutes until the others arrived and Tracy finally figured out what was happening. What a good sport! We had many good laughs together and will miss him dearly. Love, Mary and Tracy
