LODI - Craig W. Brisky, age 63, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
Craig was born to William and Marie (Lochner) Brisky on October 15, 1960. He graduated Lodi High School in 1979 and then married the love of his life Virginia Schwartz on May 30, 1981. Craig spent 30+ years working for Barbian Bros.
Craig had a love for many things but some of his favorites were hunting, fishing, softball, spending time with family and friends, helping at his brother and sister in-laws canoe base and most of all being a grandpa to his four grandchildren. As many of you know Craig was a “Big” kid himself.
Craig is survived by his daughter, Christy (Sam) Crossland; two sons, Joshua (Angie) Brisky, and Joe Brisky; grandchildren, Ayden and Sawyer Crossland, and Zach and Ben Brisky; mother, Marie Brisky; sisters, Diane (Scott) Fauerbach, Cheryl (Steve) Brisky, Jean Brisky, Karen (Larry) Brisky, Pat (Eric) Luther and Lisa Brisky; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald (Judy) Schwartz, James (Phyllis) Schwartz, Jeanette (Mark) Zerbel, Shirley (Rod) Tufford, Richard (Gayle) Schwartz, Kenneth (Carolyn) Schwartz, Carol (Ken) Grittner, Tom Schwartz, Gary Schwartz, Stanley (Lynn) Schwartz, and Jennifer (Steve) Jensen; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; father, William Brisky; brothers, Steven and Keith Brisky; and mother and father-in-law, Melvin and Jane Schwartz.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MAXIMILIAN KOLBE PASTORATE AT ST. PATRICK CHURCH, 521 Fair St., Lodi, at 11:30 am, on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024. Burial will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Lodi with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 157 S. Main St., Lodi, from 5 pm to 7 pm on Wed., Sept. 25, 2024, and again on Thursday at the church from 10:30 am until the time of the mass.
