I met Joan when she was at the library and enjoyed her friendship for many years. She was a fantastic person and will be missed.

Joan and her husband Wes were such good friends of my parents, Stan and Joann Gefke . My mother spoke so highly of Joan and they shared some wonderful times together . I am so very sorry for your family's loss, she was a treasure !

Grandma, you are missed by so many. My Katharine has already developed your love for literature and I get such joy from sharing your memory with her. I know you and Grandpa are together again. Much love to my family and all of Joan's friends that will deeply miss her.

I knew Joan through book group for many years. She almost always already owned the books we were reading and was a great friend to everyone in the group. Joan had great stories to tell. Joan was also a leader in the Friends of the Library and their booksale. Joan was a great lady to know. You will be missed. Susan Kosharek
