Obituary
LODI, WI/DRUMORE, PA -Diane N Gicker, age 77, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018. She was born on January 23, 1941, in Richmond, Virginia, the daughter of Herbert and Mildred (Coulter) Netsch. Diane graduated from Delaware City High School and attended the University of Delaware where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education. Diane taught the sixth grade math at Swift Middle School in the SOLANCO School District before her retirement. She was a long time member on Memorial United Methodist Church in Quarryville, PA and volunteered at the Quarryville Library and SOLANCO Fair. Diane had a variety of interests including knitting, reading and singing in the church choir, but enjoyed most her time spent with her family. Diane also loved vacationing with her family at the ocean along the east coast.
Diane is survived by her son, Jacob A (Susan Herlinger, companion) Gicker; her daughter, Robin (Dennis) Crow; four Grandchildren, Emilie (Jamar) Burton, Anna Crow, D Ryland Crow and Jake Crow and her brother, Herb (Margie) Netsch. She was preceded in death by her husband Jacob and her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at QUARRYVILLE MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Quarryville, PA, on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 12 noon.

Diane was a wonderful woman who loved her family very much. She will be deeply missed but live on through the memories she made with everyone who's life she touched. You all have my sympathy.

Many fond childhood memories of my God Mother Aunt Diane, as well as my God Father Uncle Jake. We lost touch over the years but found each other a few years back. I am very grateful I had the chance to visit and get a photo that I will cherish forever. May you both now rest in peace together.
