Tony Adkins

CROSS PLAINS—Tony Adkins, age 54, of Cross Plains, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018. He was born on November 6, 1963 in Madison, the son of Morris Ackerman and Lenore Adkins. Tony is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his daughter, Lyndsey; his sons, Tylor and Shane; his granddaughter, Sophia; his brothers, Joe and Deon; and his sisters, Jackie, Linda, and Jori; He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Vicky; and his brothers, Jimmy and Morris.Tony was a loving, caring father and husband. He loved playing the drums and watching his son Tylor play as well. He spent many years as a volunteer firefighter at the Middleton Fire Department and always made it a priority to help anyone in need. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on and riding his motorcycles, brewing homemade beer, and cheering on the Packers and Badgers. His great appreciation for the outdoors included many camping trips with his kids, fishing excursions with friends, and cross-country road trips on his Harley. Tony had a big heart and a unique sense of humor, and he always spoke his mind. Not a day will go by that he won’t be missed by many. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton at 2 pm, SAt. FEb. 10, 2018, and immediately following the Service, a reception will be held at the Middleton Fire Department, 7600 University Avenue, Middleton from 3 pm to 5:30 pm.
