Timothy J Rogers

OREGON/MOUNT HOREB-Timothy J. Rogers, age 57, passed away on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, from injuries sustained in a car accident.  He was born on March 17, 1960, the son of Robert and Dorothy (McKeown) Rogers.  Tim enjoyed fishing, gardening, canoeing and deer hunting. He also loved searching for the elusive Morel mushroom, while never revealing his secret spots. He was always "tinkering" and fixing things, and was a skilled heating and cooling technician.  Tim worked for Ridgelan Farms for many years.  His greatest accomplishment was being a grandpa and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.  Tim is survived by his children, Rochelle Rogers (Steve Gawaresky), Timothy R. Rogers, Lisa Rogers (Matthew Flannery), Cherie Rogers (Rory Edge) and Kasey Rogers; mother of his children and lifelong friend, Michelle Rogers; grandchildren, Ryder Gawaresky, Kyilee  Rogers, Gracie Flannery, Connor Rogers, Jaccob Flannery, Michael Flannery and Emery Edge; step-father, Robert Scott; siblings, Cindy (Bob) Bakken, Dale Rogers, Dennis (Diana) Rogers, John Rogers, Brenda (Ron)  Ruhland and James “Jim” Rogers; and many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Rogers and mother, Dorothy Scott.   A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park Street, Oregon, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.  Gunderson Oregon Funeral & Cremation Care 1150 Park Street (608)835-3515
