SUN PRAIRIE - Donald Wayne Parmer, age 75, of Sun Prairie, passed away peacefully in his home, on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021. He was born on Feb. 2, 1946, in Monroe, Wis., the son of Wilber and Lillian (Luedy) Parmer.
Don graduated from Evansville High School in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 until he was honorably discharged in 1969. Don was united in marriage to Lizabeth Thompson on Sept. 7, 1999. He worked as a machinist in the Madison area for many years until his retirement in 2008. When Don wasn’t working, he enjoyed his time in the garden and cooking for his family.
Don is survived by his wife, Lizabeth; son, Dennis Parmer; daughter, Cindy (Hans Lein) Parmer; grandchildren, Logan Parmer, Serena Parmer, Thianna (Collin Bergholz) Wegner and Kolt Wegner; brothers, Bob (Kathy) Luedy and Roger (Ann) Parmer; and sisters, Shirley (Dennis) Lee and Mary (Randy) Olson.
