Obituary
MADISON-Richard Raymond Heath, age 74, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at UW Hospital. He was born on June 20, 1943, in Madison, the son of Margaret (Spader) Bass. Richard attended Central High School in Madison. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1963 to 1967. Richard worked as a metal fabricator for Bou-Matic until retirement. He loved watching his Sunday NASCAR, boating and camping on Crystal Lake, watching football-the green and red, spending quality time with family, and lunch dates with his granddaughters and great-grand daughters. Richard is survived his daughters, Lisa (Jason) Kowalewsky and Tracy (Stan Otis ) Heath; two granddaughters, Cammie Gladem and Kelsey Gladem; grandson, Kaden Kowalewsky; three great-grand daughters, Kiley Borchers, and KeMarianna and DeAnna Leggett; brother, Chuck (Gloria ) Heath; three sisters, Barbara Heath, Susan Sherrick, and Debra (Edward) Franklin; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Diane Johnson; brother-in-law, Shorty Sherrick; and nephew, David Johnson. A memorial gathering will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday Jan. 18, 2018, with military honors at 4 p.m.

To the family of Dick Heath, I am so sorry to hear of Dick's passing
I went to school with Dick also Curt my hubby and I went up to the camp site to see some friends Pat and Gary
Dick was there with them we had so much fun him and I went for a ride on the golf cart had a ball then we stopped for a cold one we had a good time seeing each other again . He was a great guy.
It's always hard to lose a loved he will be looking down on all of you. R.I.P. my friend and may God Bless
