Obituary
BROOKLYN-Rupert "Bunny" Lowell Smith, age 82, of Brooklyn, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on Nov. 25, 1935, in Madison, the son of Kenneth and Mildred (Loftus) Smith. Bunny graduated from Brooklyn High School, graduating in 1953. He worked as a Real Estate Broker for many decades. Bunny is survived by his two sisters, Randi MacLeod and Anita Bergeland; neighbor and best friend, Pete Jacobsen; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Eugene Smith. Based on Bunny's wishes, no funeral service will be held. A burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare and the Brooklyn Fire and EMS.

I'm so thankful that my dad and I were able to see Bunny before he passed. My dad and him were childhood and life long friends. He was very much an accepted member of our family. My folks shared many good times with him. He will be sadly missed by my dad and all of us.
