Michael Zimmerman

MADISON- Michael Dean Zimmerman, age 30, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at home. He was born on June 25, 1987, in Madison, to James and Kathleen (Bailey) Zimmerman. He graduated from LaFollette High School. Michael was a very sweet and loving person who enjoyed bowling, fishing, and metal detecting around old historical houses with his father and brother. He enjoyed music and history, and loved his three kitties. Michael was a true mama’s boy. He loved his family more than anything and was incredibly happy to be back home. His brother Jimmy was his best friend and he was always following him around. Michael is survived by his parents; his brother, Jimmy; his daughter Anaistasia Ann; son, Isaiah; the love of his life, Donesha; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents; as well as his great-grandfather, with whom he shared a very special bond. A celebration of Michael’s Life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 5, 2018. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Michael, you are always loved and will never be forgotten.
